Police who were searching for a York teenager said tonight he has been found.
They issued an appeal earlier today (Wednesday) after the 14-year-old boy was last seen at his home address in York at around 3am this morning.
His family were unable to contact him, and police said there were growing concerns for his safety.
Shortly before 9.30pm, police issued this update: “We’re pleased to say he has now been found safe and well.
“Thank you to everyone who shared our appeal.”
