Police investigate obscene incident on coast bus

Police are investigating an obscene incident on a North Yorkshire bus.

It happened on the service between Scarborough and Filey on Tuesday (22 May) just after 1pm.

Officers say it was an alleged incidence of outraging public decency.

This offence is when someone does something lewd, obscene or disgusting in the presence of at least two members of the public.

A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Officers are asking members of the public to get in touch if they recognise the man in the image, as they believe they will have information that will assist the investigation.”
