A missing York girl has been found safe and well.
Police launched an appeal after the 14-year-old was last seen on Front Street in Acomb at about 10.30am today (Friday).
They said they were increasingly concerned for her welfare.
In an update at 3.46pm, the police said: “Earlier today we shared an appeal to find a missing 14-year-old teenager from York.
“We’re pleased to report that she has been found safe and well. Many thanks to everyone who shared the appeal.”
