The police have been called in after a fire in a York park last night (Wednesday).
It happened at Leeman Park off Lincoln Street, at 6.05pm.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Acomb’s crew were mobilised to reports of youths setting fire in a park.

“Crews extinguished the fire using one knapsack sprayer. The incident was left with police.”
