Fire broke out at a property in York this afternoon.
Firefighters from Acomb headed to Elmpark Way at 2.47pm to reports of a garden fence on fire.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “This had been extinguished by the occupier, prior to the fire service’s arrival.
“Crews inspected only. The fire was caused by discarded contents of a pizza oven.”
