Emergency services were called after a person was seen on the wrong side of a bridge last night (Tuesday).
It happened at Whitley Bridge, Eggborough, at 10.26pm.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Crews stood by whilst police and ambulance crews liaised with the person.

“The casualty was brought away from the bridge and into the care of police and ambulance crews with no fire service action required.”
