Three fire crews went to a crash on the A64 between York and Malton last night (Monday).
As we reported, it happened at Barton Hill at 5.55pm.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Crews from Huntington, Malton and York responded to a report of a two-vehicle road traffic collision where one person was trapped in a vehicle.

“Crews used stabilisation equipment, edraulic cutters and spreaders and to remove the roof from the vehicle and release the occupant.”
