A road that was closed by police in Tadcaster has now reopened.
But police are still on the scene at Garnet Lane.
The incident happened overnight. It was reported by the AA as being due to a crash.

The AA said the road was shut “due to crash investigation work between the A659 and Moor Lane”.
No details have yet been released about what has happened.
Although the road is now open, police are still at the scene. An alleyway is sealed off and scenes of crime officers are investigating.
