Police have renewed their appeal for information following a collision on Huntington Road at around 5.20pm on Tuesday 14 April.
It involved a Toyota Corolla and a pedestrian, a man aged in his 70s.
He was taken to hospital and has suffered serious injuries.
The scene was closed to traffic with diversions to allow the emergency services to work safely at the scene.
In support of the ongoing investigation, officers are urging witnesses to come forward or motorists with relevant dashcam footage of the incident.
