More than £4K of alcohol stolen from York supermarket

Two men made off with four trolleys filled with alcohol from a York supermarket.

The haul, which included bottles of spirits, was worth £4,000.

It happened at Tesco, Clifton Moor, at around 11.30am on Wednesday 6 December.

A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Two men entered the store and they made off with four trolleys full of alcohol including bottles of spirits.

Officers are asking members of the public to get in touch if they recognise either of the men.
