A car burst into flames in York last night.
Firefighters from Acomb were called to the incident at 6.56pm.
An A Class Mercedes was on fire. Two firefighters in breathing apparatus put out the blaze with a hose reel jet.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “The fire is believed to have begun in the engine compartment due to an electrical fault. The car suffered 100% fire damage.”
