A man was seriously hurt in a crash near Knaresborough yesterday (Monday).
It happened at about 7.40am on the A658 at the junction with the B6163 at Calcutt.
A white Toyota Aygo collided with a grey Audi Q2. The driver of the Aygo, a man in his 60s, was taken to hospital where he remains in a serious condition.
The driver of the Q2 is helping police with their enquiries.
The A658 was closed for most of the day for collision investigation work and recovery to take place.
Police are appealing for witnesses.
