Emergency services were called out to a crash involving a taxi in York today (Wednesday).
It happened on Ouseburn Avenue at about 9.47am.
Police called in firefighters after “a BMW had struck a waiting taxi,” a North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said.

No one was trapped. A man was treated by paramedics for a possible back injury.
Fire crews made the scene safe.
