Police were called to York Hospital today (Sunday) after reports of aggressive behaviour by a patient.
York response officer PC Will Leah said they were called to the Emergency Department of the hospital this afternoon.
PC Leah tweeted that he arrested a man for being drunk and disorderly “after being abusive towards staff, resisting arrest and assault an emergency worker on myself”.
He added: “This kind of behaviour will not be tolerated and is totally unnecessary.”
