Police are investigating an alleged sexual assault in York.
A cordon was put up close to Wetherspoons pub the Postern Gate on Piccadilly today (Friday). It has now been removed.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We received a report of a serious sexual assault in York earlier today.
The Postern Gate, York
“Enquiries are at a very early stage. One man has been arrested, and remains in custody at this time.”
