York Central MP Rachael Maskell says: “The Prime Minister cannot continue.” She says the Labour Party “is far too precious to allow it to be destroyed”
But Ms Maskell says there shouldn’t be an immediate leadership contest – but a timetable for change. She said as much on the YorkMix Radio Sunday Late Show a few weeks ago but added that the party should wait to see the election results.
