York Central Labour MP, Rachael Maskell, has repeated her call for Sir Keir Starmer to set a timetable to elect a new leader and stand down as PM. She described him as ‘well meaning’ and ‘committed’ but said he just doesn't have the breadth of skill to be able to take the party to the place that it needs to be to see off the challenge from Reform. We also asked her if she would ever consider standing for leader.
