Firefighters say a fire in York last night (Sunday) was started deliberately.
A crew from Acomb responded to reports of a large fire in the open at 8.51pm.
It then spread to hedging.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “They used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire which was believed to have been set deliberately.”
