A lane has been closed on the A64 tonight (Monday).
It is on the westbound carriageway between Fulford and Askham Bryan at York.
It follows a vehicles tyre blowing out on the road.
This hasn’t caused a collision and no one is hurt. But an appliance from York Fire Station is blocking the lane as a precaution.
Traffic is still flowing freely, but motorists are asked to take care when approaching this stretch of road.
