A car was set on fire deliberately on a York street at the weekend.
YorkMix previously reported that firefighters tackled the blaze on Hallfield Road at about 2.35am on Sunday.
Now police have confirmed that it was an arson attack.

A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “A silver Land Rover Discovery was set alight in the early hours of the morning, which also resulted in heat and fire damage to another vehicle.
“We’re appealing for information, particularly anyone with CCTV footage or anyone who witnessed the incident and has yet to come forward.”
