Firefighters were called to a kitchen fire last night (Friday).
It was in Thirsk at 7.11pm.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “On arrival crew confirmed this was a minor fire involving food left too long in the microwave.
“The fire was out on arrival of the fire service. Crews carried out an inspection and gave advice.”
