American rock supergroup Hollywood Vampires – aka Alice Cooper, Johnny Depp, Joe Perry and Tommy Henriksen – are heading to North Yorkshire this summer for a huge outdoor show.
Their first live shows in almost three years, Hollywood Vampires will be heading to Scarborough Open Air Theatre on Saturday 15 August.
They’ll be joined by special guests The Damned.
Tickets will go on general sale at 10am on Friday 22 January via Ticketmaster.
Hollywood Vampires last visited Yorkshire with an electrifying sold-out show at Scarborough Open Air Theatre in 2023.
Johnny Depp has also played on stage in York. He joined his friend Jeff Beck on stage at the York Barbican in June 2022, and met fans behind the venue afterwards.
Today, the band said: “After almost three years away, we’re finally coming back to tour the UK and Europe.
“We’re looking forward to Incredible crowds, massive energy and more unforgettable nights. See you all soon!”
It’s been a decade since Hollywood Vampires first came together – and they’re still raising
hell on stage. Formed in 2015, the band bonded over a shared love of their favourite songs
and a desire to celebrate their ‘dead, drunk friends’ by playing the music of rock’s fallen
heroes.
Named after Alice Cooper’s 1970s drinking club, which included the likes of John
Lennon, Keith Moon and Mickey Dolenz, Hollywood Vampires quickly earned a reputation
for blistering live shows – a riotous mix of original anthems and tributes to the legends who
inspired them.
Their sets are a raucous celebration of rock’s greatest icons, performed alongside their own
powerhouse material. Hollywood Vampires’ shows feature stone-cold classics from The Who, Led Zeppelin, David Bowie, Motörhead, The Doors, AC/DC and more, alongside hits from Alice Cooper and Aerosmith.
Hollywood Vampires join a stellar lineup including Michael Bublé, Nile Rodgers & CHIC, CMAT, Bastille, Richard Ashcroft, Anastacia, Scissor Sisters, Garbage and Skunk Anansie, James Taylor and Teddy Swims among some of the headliners for Scarborough Open Air Theatre with more still to be announced.
Julian Murray, of Scarborough OAT promoters Cuffe and Taylor, said: “Hollywood Vampires are rock royalty, and after their sell-out show here in 2023, we knew we had to bring them back.
“Their return to the Yorkshire coast promises a night of raw power, legendary anthems, and pure rock ’n’ roll energy. Scarborough fans are in for an unforgettable experience — this is one of the most exciting shows of the summer.”
