Indiana’s back! Harrison Ford pictured during filming of new blockbuster in North Yorkshire

You can’t go for a quiet stroll in North Yorkshire at the moment without stumbling across a Hollywood legend.

First it was Tom Cruise, filming the latest in his Mission Impossible franchise on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway.

Now Harrison Ford’s been spotted, in full swashbuckling archaeologist kit, as he films a new Indiana Jones movie in Grosmont on the North York Moors.

This picture was taken by Craig Holmes as the actor relaxed between takes.

A huge area around Grosmont has been taken over by the filmmakers. There are Second World War vehicles, huge lights, and wagons filled with technical equipment.

Ryan Swain took these pictures of the production. He’d been told that Harrison Ford, an accomplished pilot, had flown in to the set at Grosmont.

Ryan believes it was the last day of filming in North Yorkshire today.
