Firefighters were called out to a property fire in York early this morning (Sunday).
It was in the living room of a home in Academy Drive, Dringhouses.
Fire crews from York and Acomb were called out at 1.20am.

A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “The fire was extinguished by crews using hose reels and breathing apparatus.
“Fire damage was caused to the living room.”
