A group of four or five men were seen pushing a stolen motorbike through York.
It happened on Poppleton Road between 9.50pm and 10.20pm yesterday (Tuesday).
The bike was stolen from outside a property, and was later recovered on Yarburgh Grove.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish identities of the suspects.
“In particular, we are appealing for anyone living on Poppleton Road to check their CCTV and video doorbell systems for any relevant footage.”
