St Leonard’s Hospice’s annual Accumulator Challenge 2026 is in its final week – but the fun and fundraising isn’t over yet.
As we enter the final week of the challenge, here are three events taking place that are raising money for a fantastic cause; including our very own inaugural YorkMix Games Night.
The month-long challenge for 2026 has been raising money from Saturday 7 February to Sunday 8 March.
2026 marks the 10th year of the Challenge for the Hospice, which has raised £186,000 for patient care since its inception, thanks to the local business community.
Once again, teams of six are given a loan of £30, with the aim of generating as much profit as possible in just 30 days. Previously, teams have organised car washes, sponsored challenges, bake sales and quiz nights.

YorkMix Games Night
Come join us for a night full of YorkMix family fun at York RI in Acomb!
On Friday 6th March we will be holding a YorkMix Games night to raise money for St Leonard’s Hospice as part of the Accumulator Challenge where we aim to turn £30 into more money for the Hospice.
The evening will include Family Fortunes, Bingo, Quizzical Live, Disco and a Tombola.

Indigo Greens Charity Cake Sale and Coffee
At Indigo Greens, we are passionate about making a positive impact locally, and we are proud to be taking part in the St Leonard’s Hospice York Accumulator Challenge once again in 2026. Every cake, cupcake and sweet treat sold from the Indigo Greens Charity Cake Sale and Coffee will help raise much-needed funds for St Leonard’s Hospice.

St. Leonard’s Charity Event: Grand Quiz Night
Join us in The Grand Boardroom for a Charity Quiz Night, hosted by Tim Lichfield of YorkMix Radio. There will be an evening buffet, complimentary welcome drink, and a raffle of Grand prizes.
