The viral ‘coffee rave’ has been a smash-hit success at a popular York attraction this week.
On Friday morning (24 July), families could be seen dancing, laughing and chatting – all with a coffee in hand – at Piglets Adventure Farm.
Rant & Ramble, founded by Leesa Collinge, from Haxby, has captured the hearts of thousands by encouraging people to swap scrolling for walking, loneliness for connection and ordinary mornings for unforgettable experiences.
What started as a simple walk with friends after the heartbreaking loss of her mum has become one of the UK’s fastest-growing wellbeing communities.
In less than a year, the community has grown from a handful of local walkers to a movement reaching millions online, attracting national media attention and selling out events across Yorkshire, Manchester, Leeds and London.
Their now-famous Coffee Raves have become a social media sensation, transforming early mornings into feel-good celebrations where hundreds of people gather with a coffee in hand before dancing together to a live DJ.
The latest Coffee Rave at Piglets Adventure Farm was a family-focused summer special, and their first family specific event.
Guests enjoyed a welcome coffee, an uplifting community walk, a 30-minute Coffee Rave with a live DJ and full-day admission to Piglets Adventure Farm with early access before the park opens to the public.
Founder Leesa Collinge said: “We spend so much of our lives rushing from one thing to the next.
“Coffee Raves remind people what it feels like to simply be present, laugh with strangers, dance without judgement and leave feeling happier than when they arrived.”
Earlier this week, at a London event, TV legend Davina McCall attended a Coffee Rave, which Leesa said was “incredible.”
