Former Formula 1 boss and star of the Netflix series Drive To Survive, Christian Horner, is coming to York.
Horner, 52, was sacked as Red Bull CEO and team principal following July’s British Grand Prix.
It came after a period of extraordinary success during his 20-year career with Red Bull, winning eight drivers’ and six constructors’ titles.
Now Horner will take part in “an evening of candid conversation”, discussing a career full of drama at York Barbican.
It’s to celebrate Drive, his memoir. York Barbican says: “Horner will reflect on the defining moments of his career, the leadership lessons forged under relentless pressure, and the highs and lows of competing at the very top of world motorsport.
“From championship-winning campaigns to the decisions made behind closed doors, Drive offers a rare insight into what it takes to build and lead a team in one of the most demanding sports on the planet.
“Following the conversation, Christian Horner will take questions from the audience in a live Q&A, giving fans the opportunity to hear his thoughts on Formula 1, leadership, competition, and the stories behind the book.”
An Audience With Christian Horner is at York Barbican on Saturday 17 October at 7.30pm.
Each ticket includes a copy of Drive. For more details and to book, go here.
