Crews tackled another fire believed to have been started deliberately yesterday (Saturday).
Firefighters were called to the blaze, in a field off Garden Lane, Sherburn in Elmet, at 4.45pm.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Crews from Tadcaster, Selby and Pontefract responded to a stubble field fire believed to have been caused deliberately.

“Fire measured 100m x 30m and was spreading towards a recycling centre. Crews extinguished using two hose reels and some farm machinery.”
