Four fire crews were called to tackle a blaze in a North Yorkshire village home last night.
They went to the incident in Leven Gardens, Tockwith at 6.18pm.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Crews from York and Acomb alongside two appliances from West Yorkshire fire and rescue service attended a residential property fire.

“Six firefighters in breathing apparatus entered the property to extinguish the fire with three hose reel jets.
“The cause of the fire is under investigation by fire investigation officers.”
