Firefighters rescued a person from Selby Canal last night (Monday)
They were called to the incident at 8.42pm.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Crew used crew power only to lift person from water.
“First aid was given until the arrival of an ambulance when the casualty was left in care of paramedics.”
