Firefighters tackled a TV aerial damaged in the high winds in York.
They went to the incident on Wellington Street at 6.21pm last night (Sunday).
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Huntington and Acomb’s ariel ladder platform responded to a 5 foot television ariel hanging in a dangerous position from a property after becoming damaged in high winds.

“Crew power and bolt cutters were used to remove the ariel before the possibility of it falling onto the footpath below.”
