Firefighters were called to reports of burning behind a shop in York last night.
A crew from Acomb were sent to Intake Avenue in Clifton at 11.21pm.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “This was found to be rubbish set alight by shop owners.

“The fire crew extinguished fire using a hose reel and advice given to shop staff to not burn rubbish at rear of premises in future.”
