A fire crew tackled a fire started on a York street last night (Wednesday).
They were called to Bachelor Hill at 7.58pm.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “The York crew responded to a pile of rubbish on fire.

“They extinguished the fire with knapsack sprayers and a bucket of water. The cause of the fire was believed to had been deliberate.”
