A girl got stuck up a tree in York last night (Wednesday).
Firefighters were called to the tree, on Hull Road near to the shops at Badger Hill, at 8.27pm.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “A crew from York were called to a young female with her leg stuck in a tree after climbing it.
“The crew used a ladder and lighting to free the female and bring her to earth safely.”
