Crews from Huntington and York responded to a report of a garage attached to a residential property on fire in Sutton on the Forest, yesterday lunch time (Friday).
On arrival crews found a garage well alight.
Crews extinguished the fire, dampened down and exposed the roof area to check for further fire spread and hot spots.
The fire was caused by a faulty electrical inlet into the property and resulted in moderate damage to a lean to structure and garage roof as well as some light smoke logging in the property.
