Firefighters were called in after a feral cat invaded a house in Selby.
They went to the incident on Woodville Terrace at 11.40pm.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Selby crews moved a feral cat that had climbed into a property’s bathroom window and then wedged itself between a sink stand and bath, refusing to leave when coaxed by occupants of the property.

“Crews wearing personal protective gloves moved the cat from behind the bath and it exited via the bathroom window at its own accord.
“Advice was given to the occupants who were familiar with the cat and its potential owners who they will contact during daylight hours.”
