A driver left the road and crashed through a hedge in Tadcaster last night (Tuesday).
Emergency services were called to Stutton Road in the town at 5.49pm.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “The occupant is believed to have suffered a medical episode at the wheel.

“Crews extricated the person from vehicle using cutting equipment and handed into care of ambulance to be take to hospital.”
