A driver was hurt in a crash on the motorway in North Yorkshire early this morning (Wednesday).
It happened at 3.45am on the A1(M) at Leeming Bar.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Crews from Richmond, Northallerton and Bedale responded to reports of a single vehicle road traffic collision.

“On arrival, the driver had self extracated and was recieving treatment on scene from the ambulance service, before being taken to hospital via road ambulance.
“No action was required from the fire service.”
