Emergency services were called to a crash which left a lorry on its side.
They were called out at 3.58pm yesterday (Monday) to West Moor Road, Raskelf.
A YorkMix reader said it involved an overturned lorry.
Firefighters from Ripon and Thirsk rescued the driver via the vehicle’s windscreen.
He was taken to hospital with “non-life threatening injuries”.
The junction from the Tholthorpe turn to the A19 was closed during the incident. No other vehicles were involved.
