A brazen thief stole items from a villager’s garden, loaded them into his van and drove off.
Police say the incident is only the latest in a series of thefts from front and back gardens and driveways in Thorpe Willoughby, near Selby.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “The latest report is from Dane Avenue on 25 February around 11am when a male driving a white van entered an enclosed rear garden and stole garden chairs, a bike and an access ramp.
