Missing the movies? We have some good news – a triple bill of big screen musicals rolls up in York this month.
The Drive-In Cinema is screening The Greatest Showman, Mamma Mia! and Grease at York Racecourse on Sunday, 25 April.
Movies are shown on a 100m square screen. As well as the movies, the event will offer street food, interactive quizzes and live comedy.
Tickets are £32 per car plus a £3 booking fee, and you can buy them here. The timings:
1:00pm – The Greatest Showman
4:30pm – Mamma Mia!
8:00pm – Grease
Callum Campbell, founder of The Drive-In Cinema, said the event would be Covid secure: “What The Drive-In Cinema promises is a socially distanced environment, but with plenty of fun and joy for everyone.”
They are offering free popcorn for early-bird buyers.
If you use the code EASTERHOLS when purchasing a ticket before midday on Monday (5 April) you will receive free popcorn at the event.
