Two dogs had to be rescued by firefighters in Aldborough today.
Crews from Knaresborough, alongside Ripon and Richmond swift water rescue teams, responded to reports of two dogs stuck in the river.
The dogs were found in the drainage ditch. Crews used a triple extension ladder to safely get them out and reunite them with the owners safe and well.
