Firefighters were called out in York last night after a dog fell down a river embankment.
They got the call at 10.23pm to go to Piccadilly, where a dog had fallen 20 feet.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “The dog had already been retrieved on the arrival of the crew – no action required from the fire service.”
