A cyclist was taken to hospital after being attacked on a busy York road.
It happened at around 9.40am last Thursday, 7 March and involved three men.
The victim was riding a yellow bike along Holgate Road. A man knocked the cyclist off their bike into the middle of the road, before punching them several times in the head.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “As a result of the assault the cyclist sustained facial and head injuries, and required hospital treatment.
“We’d like to speak to anyone who witnessed this incident as it happened at a busy time of day and there were a number of people that stopped to help.”
