Firefighters were called to a fire at a York pub last night (Saturday).
Crews from Acomb and York were called to the incident in Poppleton at 6.56pm.
The fire was in the kitchen.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “The fire started in the grill and staff had attempted to put the fire out using a fire blanket.
“Crews extinguished the fire using a hose reel. Minor fire damage to the area was sustained.”
