Firefighters were called to a street in Holgate last night (Saturday).
Crews from went to Sowerby Road at 9.44pm to reports of a bin fire outside a house.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Crews used one bucket of water to extinguish a small fire to rubbish.
“The cause was unknown.”
