There’s been a crash on the A64 this morning (Wednesday).
It was near Tadcaster on the York-bound carriageway. It caused slow traffic is slow on the way to Bilbrough Top.
The road has now been cleared and traffic has returned to normal.

A YorkMix radio listener told us at 7.20am that emergency services were on the way and members of the public were helping at the scene.
At the height of the incident, drivers were reporting standstill traffic..
