Selby parents are being warned that a popular play area is now shut – due to a broken sewer pipe.
Selby Town Council has had to shut Wistow Road Play Area for the time being.
A council spokesperson said: “We are working with Yorkshire Water to ensure the pipe is replaced as soon as possible so we can reopen the play area.”
One parent commented on Facebook: “I hope it’s not closed too long – kids love this park.”
