Police are investigating an incident where a can of drink was thrown at a car in Scarborough.
It happened on Sunday (10 May) at around 2.50pm on Aberdeen Walk.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “A male that had stumbled into the road threw a can of drink at a passing car.

“The contents of the can entered the car and covered the child in the rear passenger seat.
“We are appealing for any witnesses, and for motorists that may have been passing at this time to review their dashcam footage.”
The suspect is described as
- a white male
- in his early 30s
- short dark hair with a straight fringe
- wearing grey/white tracksuit with a black motif.
He was in company with another man and a woman with purple hair.
